📱 Setting Up Email on Outlook, iOS, and Android

Want to check your professional email on your phone or computer? Here’s how to configure your Ozzietel-hosted email on Microsoft Outlook, iOS (iPhone/iPad), and Android devices.

📌 Before You Begin #

Make sure you have the following details ready:

💻 Setting Up Email in Microsoft Outlook #

For Outlook 2019 / 365: #

1. Open Outlook and go to File → Add Account.
2. Enter your full email address and click Connect.
3. Select IMAP.
4. Enter the following:
   • Incoming Mail Server: mail.yourdomain.com
   • Port: 993 | Encryption: SSL/TLS
   • Outgoing Mail Server: mail.yourdomain.com
   • Port: 465 | Encryption: SSL/TLS
5. Enter your email password.
6. Click Connect and you’re done!

📱 Setting Up Email on iPhone / iPad (iOS Mail) #

1. Go to Settings → Mail → Accounts → Add Account → Other → Add Mail Account.
2. Enter:
   • Name: Your Name
   • Email: yourname@yourdomain.com
   • Password: Your email password
   • Description: Anything (e.g., Work Email)
3. Under Incoming Mail Server:
   • Hostname: mail.yourdomain.com
   • Username: Full email address
   • Password: Your email password
4. Under Outgoing Mail Server:
   • Hostname: mail.yourdomain.com
   • Username: Full email address
   • Password: Your email password
5. Tap Next, then tap Save.

📥 Your iPhone/iPad will verify settings and add your email account.

🤖 Setting Up Email on Android (Gmail or Default Email App) #

Option 1: Using Gmail App #

1. Open the Gmail app → Tap your profile → Add another account → Choose Other.
2. Enter your email address and tap Manual Setup.
3. Choose IMAP.
4. Enter the following:
   • Incoming server:
     • Server: mail.yourdomain.com
     • Port: 993
     • Security: SSL/TLS
     • Username: Full email
     • Password: Email password
   • Outgoing server:
     • SMTP Server: mail.yourdomain.com
     • Port: 465
     • Security: SSL/TLS
     • Username: Full email
     • Password: Email password
5. Follow the prompts and complete the setup.

• Make sure SSL is enabled for both incoming and outgoing servers.
